How many total teams will compete in the BBQ World Cup?
The BBQ World Cup will feature a large field of top domestic and international pitmasters. Final team counts will be announced soon.
How do I qualify for the BBQ World Cup?
Teams earn their place by competing in an official BBQ World Cup Qualifier. Each Qualifier awards a limited number of spots, listed on our Events & Competition page.
How many teams qualify from each event?
Each Qualifier has its own allocation of qualification spots. Details for each event are listed on our Events & Competition page.
Do I need to compete in a sanctioned event to qualify?
Yes. Only officially designated BBQ World Cup Qualifiers count toward earning a spot.
Are international events eligible?
Yes. Several domestic and international competitions will serve as Qualifiers.
Can I transfer my qualification to someone else?
No. Qualification spots are non-transferable.
What if the Qualifier uses different rules than the BBQ World Cup?
That is okay. If you earn a qualifying spot at an approved event, you qualify for the BBQ World Cup. The BBQ World Cup’s competition rules will be published once finalized.
Is there a deadline to claim my spot?
Once you qualify, your spot is secure. Additional details will be shared soon.
Is there a fee after qualifying?
There is a standard qualification fee paid to the BBQ World Cup. Event entry fees for Qualifiers are handled separately by each Promoter.
Where will the BBQ World Cup take place?

What is the official event schedule?

Will teams have assigned spaces?

What is the BBQ World Cup Expo?
The BBQ World Cup will host the largest BBQ Expo in the world, featuring top brands, cooking equipment, technology, food products, demos, and hands-on fan experiences.
How many vendors will be there?
A large and diverse range of exhibitors will be participating. Final vendor counts will be released once confirmed.
Do I need a ticket to attend the Expo?
Yes. All Expo access will require a valid BBQ World Cup ticket.
What is the BBQ Creator Battle?
The BBQ Creator Battle will bring together leading BBQ creators, chefs, pitmasters, and personalities to compete in front of fans. It will be the largest event of its kind.
Who will participate?
Creator invitations and entry opportunities will be announced closer to the event.
Can fans watch the Creator Battle?
Yes. Fans with valid tickets will be able to watch the competition. Broadcast/streaming details will be shared in early 2026.
Will there be BBQ masterclasses?
Yes. The BBQ World Cup will feature immersive masterclasses led by top pitmasters and chefs. Full class menus and instructors will be announced soon.
What types of classes will be offered?
Topics will include a wide range of barbecue techniques and skills. The full list of classes will be released once finalized.
Will there be free samples?
Select brands, chefs, and pitmasters will offer tastings and demos inside the Expo. Specific sampling schedules will be announced closer to the event.
When will BBQ World Cup tickets go on sale?
Ticket information will be announced soon. Due to high demand, a limited number of tickets will be released for both General Admission and VIP experiences.
Will tickets sell out?
Yes. Fans are encouraged to sign up for early notifications, as ticket inventory will be limited.
What types of tickets will be available?

The BBQ World Cup will award over $1,000,000 in cash prizes, with full prize breakdowns to be announced closer to the event.
Can teams sell food?

Is registering my BBQ team on the website free?
Yes. Team profile registration is free.
What is the cost to enter a Qualifier?
